Privacy statement
Here you can read which data we process, why we do so and with whom we share it. The website itself does not store any data.
Assist2go handles your data with care. This website has no accounts and no database. What you enter in the contact form or in the website check is forwarded to Assist2go. Below you can read which data this involves, why we need it and who receives it.
1. Who is responsible?
Assist2go is responsible for the processing of your data.
Address: Lindenlaan 27, 3931 ZK Woudenberg
Email: info@assist2go.nl
Website: www.assist2go.nl
Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 42071129
VAT number: NL005472396B65
2. Which data do we process?
That depends on what you do on our website.
If you use the contact form or the quote request:
- your name and email address
- your phone number and company name, only if you enter them
- what you enter yourself: the type of request, your answers to the follow-up questions, your contact preference, your desired timeframe and your message
- the moment at which you accepted the privacy statement, the language and the page on which you completed the form
- for the quote request also the topics you choose, whether you are a company or a private individual, for a company the KvK number and the address (completed from the Trade Register where needed), whether you want a call back and whether you want a copy by email
If you use the short website check:
- the website address that you enter
If you request the full report of the website check:
- your name, company name, email address and phone number
- the website address and the industry
If you look up your company in the Trade Register in the call request form:
- the search term you type: a company name or a KvK number (see article 5)
- the same applies in the quote request, which has the same search aid (see article 5)
If you let the call request form complete your address:
- your postcode and house number, or your street and city
- technical data such as your IP address and browser, which avsaro.com receives (see article 6)
If you visit our website:
- technical data such as your IP address, browser and device, which end up in the server log files
- your IP address, briefly in the working memory of the server, to limit misuse of the forms. This is not stored.
- data about your visit via Google Analytics, only if you give consent for this
If you become a customer, we also process the data that is needed for the assignment and for invoicing, such as address, KvK number, VAT number and bank account number.
For quotes and invoices we use the customer portal (portal.assist2go.nl), a separate environment outside this website. In it we process the data of the quote or invoice and of the contact person, such as name, email address and company details.
3. What do we use your data for?
- answering your question or quote request and keeping in touch with you
- taking over your company details correctly in the call request form, with the help of the Trade Register and an address service
- preparing the report of the website check and sending it to you
- carrying out an assignment and invoicing it, if you become a customer
- securing the website and the forms and investigating faults
- improving the website with usage statistics, if you give consent for this
- complying with legal obligations, such as the tax retention obligation
4. On what basis do we process data?
- your request or an agreement: when you submit a request or become a customer
- your request and our legitimate interest: to take over your company details correctly, when you look up your company or have the address completed
- consent: for analytics cookies
- legitimate interest: to secure the website and the forms and to answer questions
- legal obligation: for example the tax retention obligation of 7 years
5. What do we store, and for how long?
The website itself does not store any data. What you enter in the contact form is sent to Assist2go as an email. The short website check does not store any data about you.
If you request a conversation, we send you a confirmation by email at the address you entered. We only use that address to contact you about your request.
If you choose a copy by email in the quote request, we send it to the address you entered. We use that address only for that copy and to contact you about your request. The Trade Register search aid and the address completion work in the quote request exactly as in the call request form, with the same recipients (see article 6).
In the call request form you can look up your company in the Trade Register of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK). Our website sends the search term you type, a company name or a KvK number, together with your IP address to our own portal (portal.assist2go.nl). The portal runs the search at the KVK. Only the search term goes to the KVK, not your IP address. We use your IP address only to limit the number of searches, with counters in memory that disappear after about one day. We do not store the search term with you or your IP address. The answer from the KVK may be kept temporarily for 30 days at most, without any link to you, so that the same search is not sent to the KVK again every time.
For the full report of the website check, our analysis service stores your request on a server of our hosting provider in Europe. The report and the related PDFs are placed in our cloud storage at Microsoft.
Retention periods:
- financial data and invoices: 7 years (statutory retention obligation)
- other data: no longer than necessary for the purpose for which we process it
6. With whom do we share data?
We engage parties that process data on our behalf. We make agreements with them about the processing of personal data. These are:
- a hosting provider with servers in Europe, for the website and the analysis service
- Cloudflare, for the security and speed of the traffic to the website and for Turnstile, the check that keeps bots out of the forms
- Microsoft, for email and the storage of reports in OneDrive
- an email service, for sending the messages that come in through the website
- AI services that help prepare the report of the website check
- Google, for Analytics, only with your consent (see article 8)
In addition, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) receives the search term when you look up your company in the call request form. Our own portal (portal.assist2go.nl) runs that search and processes the search term. To complete your address, your postcode and house number (or street and city) go through avsaro.com, a domain of Assist2go itself, to PDOK, the open address service of the Dutch government. avsaro.com then receives your IP address and browser data.
We do not pass on your data to other parties for commercial purposes. If one of these parties processes data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place.
7. Security
Assist2go takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data:
- SSL/TLS encryption on the website
- restricted access to personal data (only for those who need it)
- protection of the forms against misuse, with a check against bots and a limit on the number of requests
8. Cookies and Google Analytics
Our website uses:
- necessary cookies and storage, for your language preference and to remember your cookie choice
- analytics cookies from Google Analytics (GA4), only if you give consent
We do not use marketing cookies.
For Google Analytics the following applies:
- the cookies are only placed after you have given your consent
- Google Analytics 4 does not store the IP addresses of visitors
- we do not use Google Analytics for advertising
Via the cookie settings at the bottom of every page you can change your choice at any time. An overview of all cookies with their name, purpose and retention period can be found in our cookie policy.
9. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the following rights:
- right of access: you can request which data we process about you
- right to rectification: you can have incorrect data corrected
