Integrations and automation: systems that work together, with no double entry

Enter data once and have it appear where it is needed: that leaves you time for your own work.

01What you get

What you get from us

In many businesses the same data is typed in three places: in the web shop, in the accounting package and in an Excel list. That costs time and causes errors. Assist2go connects your systems and automates whatever can be repeated.

Accounting integrations

Invoices, customers and payments that pass back and forth between your web shop or quoting tool and your accounting package.

Web shop and stock

Orders, stock and shipping status in line, so you do not sell what you do not have.

CRM and quotes

A request through the website arrives as a contact and a job in your CRM, and an approved quote becomes an invoice.

Workflows and alerts

A task that is always the same happens by itself, and you get a message if something fails.

Reporting

Figures from different systems brought together automatically, without copying them by hand every month.

Documents and email

Confirmations, reminders and invoices that are sent or saved at the right moment.

02In depth

What you can connect

Almost every package you use daily has a way to exchange data, usually through an API or a standard integration. Common combinations in small businesses are: a web shop that passes orders to the accounting package, a quoting tool that turns an approved quote into a job and an invoice, a calendar that sends a confirmation when an appointment is made, and a form on the website that lands in your CRM.

Whether an integration is worth it depends on how often something happens and what a mistake costs. An integration for three invoices a month is better left manual. An integration for forty orders a day pays for itself quickly, and prevents the typing errors that come with manual work.

03

Standard integration, tool or custom?

There are three ways to connect systems. Many packages have a standard integration with another package, often as a module: that is the first choice, because it is the easiest to maintain. For simple rules there are tools such as Power Automate, which lets you build a flow without code. For complex rules, large volumes or unusual packages we build a custom integration.

We start with the simplest solution that works and only build ourselves what cannot be done otherwise. That keeps costs low and management clear. If an integration is part of a larger custom project, you can read more under custom software, ERP and CRM.

04

Automating where it pays off

Most of the gain is in work that repeats often, follows fixed rules and produces errors when done by hand: sending reminders for unpaid invoices, creating accounts when someone starts, preparing a report every Monday, saving attachments in the right place. These are small jobs that together cost a day a week.

Where documents or email need to be read or pre-sorted, AI can help. We use it where it is reliable and keep a person involved in decisions where a mistake would do damage.

05

Secure and traceable

An integration has access to your data and so must be treated as carefully as a member of staff. We use separate access keys with as few permissions as possible, store them securely and record what has been connected. If an integration fails, you or we get an alert, so no data goes missing without anyone knowing.

How we work

How we work

  1. Analysis

Which systems do you have, where do you enter things twice and what does that cost? We start with what pays off most.

  2. Implementation

We build the integration, test it with real data and only put it live once the results are right.

  3. Maintenance

We keep an eye on the integration, adjust it when a package changes and report faults before you notice them.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

What can I connect?
Almost anything that has an API or a standard integration: accounting packages, web shops, CRM, calendars, payment providers and your own software. After a short analysis we tell you honestly what is possible and what it brings.
What does an integration cost?
That depends on the packages, the rules and the amount of data going back and forth. A standard integration is usually simple, a custom integration costs more. After the analysis you receive a quote.
Is a tool like Power Automate enough, or do I need custom work?
For simple flows it often is. Once the rules get complicated, the volume grows or your package is not supported, custom work pays off. We start simple and only build ourselves what is needed.
Is automation safe?
Yes, if it is done carefully: separate access keys with limited permissions, a log and an alert on errors. A connected system is treated like a member of staff with access.
What happens if a package changes its integration?
Packages sometimes change their integrations. When we manage the integration, we watch for that, adjust it and tell you what happened.
Can you connect my accounting to my web shop?
Usually, yes. Whether a standard integration exists depends on the combination. If not, we build a custom one.
