A reliable network and workstations that simply work

A single router in the hallway is rarely enough. Walls, floors and nearby devices disturb the signal, and anyone far away gets slow and patchy coverage. A good wifi network consists of several access points connected by cable that together cover an area, set to channels that do not interfere with each other.

We start with a look around the premises and a measurement of the current situation. Then we decide how many access points are needed and where they go, and run cable where necessary. The result is a network you stop noticing.

In an office or a shop all kinds of devices hang on the same network: laptops, printers, cameras, tablets and a guest's phone. By dividing the network into parts, an infected or poorly secured device stays limited to its own part. Guests get internet but cannot reach company data.

It comes down to good settings in the firewall and the switches. It makes the network safer without making things harder for your team.

A workstation is more than a laptop. It is a device with the right programs, the right settings, encrypted storage and access to what the user needs. If every laptop starts from a standard setup, a new colleague is quickly at work and a broken laptop is quickly replaced.
