Cookie policy
Which cookies this website uses, what for and how to change your choice.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit a website. A website can also keep data in the local storage of your browser. The same rules apply to that, so we treat it as cookies here as well.
2. Which cookies do we use?
We use necessary cookies and, only with your consent, analytics cookies. We do not use marketing cookies or cookies from advertising networks.
2.1 Necessary cookies
These cookies are needed to make the website work and cannot be switched off. They are only placed in response to an action by you, such as opening a page in a particular language or saving your cookie choice. The website has no accounts, so no login cookies are placed.
| Name | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remember the language of the page you opened last | Session (until you close the browser) |
| cookie_consent | Remember your cookie choice (local storage of your browser, not a cookie) | 6 months |
On pages with a form, the website loads Cloudflare Turnstile. This is a check that keeps out bots and is needed to secure the form. Turnstile loads without consent and does not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
2.2 Analytics cookies
With analytics cookies we see how visitors use the website. That helps us improve the website. We only place these cookies after you have given your consent. Until then, the website does not load Google Analytics.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguish visitors | 2 years |
| _ga_S435X2NHH9 | Google Analytics | Store session data | 2 years |

3. Giving and withdrawing consent
On your first visit we ask for your consent for analytics cookies. You can also reject everything, and the website will then work as usual. We keep your choice for six months in the local storage of your browser, after which we ask again. You can change your choice via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. If you withdraw your consent, Google Analytics stops and we remove the analytics cookies that our website placed.
4. Third-party services
Google Analytics is a service of Google. Google processes the data on behalf of Assist2go and only if you give consent. Cloudflare Turnstile is a service of Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives technical data from your browser, such as your IP address. We load the fonts from our own server and not from Google. The website does not use embedded maps, videos or social media buttons. On the form to request a call, the website loads a script from avsaro.com, a domain of Assist2go itself, which completes the address. avsaro.com then receives technical data from your browser, such as your IP address. The script does not set any cookies. If you enter a postcode and house number, they go through avsaro.com to PDOK, the open address service of the Dutch government.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access
- Right to rectification
- Right to erasure
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object
- Right to withdraw your consent
Contact us at info@assist2go.nl. We respond within 30 days.
6. Filing a complaint
Are you not satisfied with how we handle your data? Then you can file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch Data Protection Authority): www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl
7. Changes
We may change this cookie policy. The most recent version is always on this page, with the date of the last change.
